FOE

Eclectic Groove

With faithful disciples from Spain, Wales and North West England, FOE offer an esoteric and hypnotic sound, characterised by a darkly sensual and cinematic fusion of break beat, hip hop mingled with soulful melodies, dub grooves and acid jazz inspired digressions. This ensemble of varied cultures and mixed musical tastes is the catalyst for some of the most original and eclectic sounds of recent times. A 4-piece musical outfit with an avant garde approach, they are equally happy making sunny reggae grooves or packing dance floors with drum and bass workouts. With their sound suiting adjectives such as organic and rootsy, FOE are sensible enough to have some impressive tricks up their sleeve: heady jazz soliloquies, funk-inspired digressions and electronic deviations add to their eclectic credentials

FOE are always on the look out for collaborations and have left space on their tracks where Bob would usually do vocals with this in mind. PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU WANT TO COLLABORATE WITH THE BAND

FEATURING ON ONE TRACK ARE FREE WIZE MEN (ROOM 2 RECORDS) AND YEMI (M20 COLLECTIVE)

YEMI BOLATIWA
As lead singer of soul and break-beat outfit pareidolia, d'n'b vocalist for Dope Ammo records and member of the Red-eye-hifi LIVE band, Yemi bolatwa's aim is to collaborate on music in genres that encompass her favourite sounds with live music at the heart of her endeavours.

FREE WIZE MEN
Consisting of self proclaimed boom baptist Blind MIC, 24 hour don Afro Sam & lord of the disco Key Bay, 'Free Wize Men' are a young Hip-Hop crew from Manchester, UK. You might catch them at a rave on the mic goin' sick, or at the rave on the the floor, goin' under. Definitely one of the most action packed acts to watch out for this year. Having smashed high profile events including a gig at The Ritz supporting Levelz, Mouse Outfit and Riot Jazz, as well as supporting the legendary Zion Train at the infamous Shambala Festival, these guys aint messing around. Boasting tracks in collaboration with Leaf Dog (High Focus Records, who has also recently produced a track for Wu Tang), The Mouse Outfit (Winner of Wordplay Magazine Best Album of 2014 and featured in ABC News top 50 Albums of 2014) aswell as a track called ‘Come Off It' produced by Chimpo for Toddla Ts Label ‘Girl Music', there is no hint of slowing down from these young Manc natives. Key Bey is also a resident host at Manchesters premier bass music night ‘Hit n Run', having travelled with them to London to play at Fabric. Their debut release 'Free Wizdom' is out now on Room2 Records. Keep ya eyes and ears peeled for material coming from these lads and in the words of Afro Sam "we'll come mash up ya ‘ouse party".
